The Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research (AWI) is a member of the Helmholtz Association (HGF) and funded by federal and state government. Biological/chemical-technical assistant (m/f/d)

Background
The Section Ecology of Shelf Seas on Helgoland investigates the food webs of the North Sea and their changes as a consequence of global change. On Helgoland we use a variety of experimental and analytical approaches. This work is carried out in close co-operation with national and international projects and requires a high degree of independence, adaptability to difficult conditions and the ability to work in a team in an interdisciplinary environment.

The position is unlimited and in full-time. The position is also suitable for part-time employment. Depending on your qualifications and the tasks assigned to you, remuneration is possible up to pay group 9a and is based on the collective agreement for the federal public service (TVöD-Bund). The place of employment is Helgoland.
